You have lived your entire life in your home, at the bed of the ocean. An endless expanse of darkness is all you know, only interrupted by the tales of your sisters. But tonight, you will finally will be able to join them when they travel to the surface.
Blood & Foam is an evocative solo game about a mermaid that travels for the first time to the surface. With the help of a deck of cards, you will tell what happens in your journey. And by the end of the game, you will decide your fate.
This is a game you play on your own, and will require either a deck of cards, or a printed version of The Sisters (check below). The game takes around 60 minutes to be played.
Please note that the deck used in the game is a Spanish deck. You can substitute it with any deck, including tarot, just by replacing the suites.

I shamelessly stole this idea from Armanda, because I think it slaps. Many times the labor behind the games we create is ignored, so to highlight it, I've added this detailed budget.
At 1100 words, the costs are:
- Writing: U$D110 ($0,10 per word)
- Editing: U$D55 ($0,05 per word)
- Layout art: U$D136 ($8 per page)
- Art: U$D350 ($15 per asset, $50 per artwork)
- Testing: U$D25 ($25 per hour)
- Total: U$D676
At the current price point, I would have to sell 127 copies or 97 copies of 'The Sisters' to pay everyone.

Picked this up through the "Argentinian Tabletop Creatives Aid" - I love the theme and artwork, the setting felt very immersive.
I'd recommend to play this with a pen&paper and write down your responses to the prompts and give yourself some time with them.
